Notifications are customizable based on Project Statues and Roles. You can set rules so when a status is changed, project contacts, company Qfactor users only,  with designated roles will be notified via email of the change.

For example, when a Proposal status is changed to Proposal Signed, you can notify the project manager and project finance contacts that there is a new project to schedule and setup in billing.
